Why Outsource
Your EV Isolation?

Therapeutics-focused EV researchers often face the challenge of efficiently scaling up EV isolation for large-volume processing.

When making the leap to larger starting volumes, it is common to find that the required specialised technology is unfamiliar or inaccessible.

Navigating this scale-up process alone can be tough, frustrating and time-consuming. With our expertise though, you can fast-track your EV isolation scale-up and accelerate your overall timelines – allowing you to refocus on therapeutic development sooner.

Before large-scale testing, you must first scale up isolation workflows to handle bigger volumes. Partnering with an experienced process development team can speed up therapeutic development, reduce costs, and allow you to focus on your unique aspects of development.

Leaning on our experience makes scaling up much smoother and means you aren’t left troubleshooting alone. Outsourcing your scale-up to us allows for a more seamless transition through pilot runs and beyond, keeping your development moving forward.

What Does Outsourcing EV
Sample Processing Involve?

Consultation

We discuss your specific situation in detail: sample type, sample volume, long-term goals and specific requests.

Receive your isolate

We send you your isolate and all the associated data.

Send your sample

Ship your sample to our Boston facilities.

Return to your R&D!

With your purified EV isolate at hand, continue with your good work!

Protocol development

We next develop and optimise an EV isolation protocol to obtain a purified EV isolate from your sample.

Optional: Tech transfer

We schedule a time to set up an isolation process at your facility.

EV isolate collection and analysis

We conduct assessments of your purified isolate as agreed on during the consultation step. These are customisable to your sample.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The principles of sample preparation and isolation remain the same for most sample types. Therefore, we are open to whatever project you have in mind – just reach out to the team to confirm it will be a good fit.

In addition to being the leading provider of EV isolation solutions for sample volumes from 150 µL to 100 mL, we have recently processed samples for customers ranging from 1 to 2000 L starting volumes! For those scaling in volume, we have found that the 6-10 L range serves as a practical volume for feasibility studies, where it makes sense to optimise around this range before going much larger.

Currently, this service is run out of our Boston facilities. However, if you are based outside of the US then let us know your requirements to see what we can do.

To give you an idea, you can outsource your EV isolation scale-up of ~6-10 L batches for a very competitive cost of ~25K USD. To discuss the cost of tech transfer and for other volume ranges, talk to the team.

We do not run any functional studies – best if we leave that to you! We do measure the purity and physical characteristics of your EVs, and we can incorporate additional molecular characterisation work – just ask!
