A Standardized Method To Determine the Concentration of Extracellular Vesicles Using Tunable Resistive Pulse Sensing

A study across 6 EV research groups to assess the consistency and accuracy of a standardised method of separation and measurement of the EVs from a common plasma sample has just been released.

This is the first stage of a process to develop the most practical, accurate and consistent method of EV separation and measurement for clinical use. The EV field needs a standardised approach, with objective and repeatable data, in order to be able to advance from university laboratory research to medical adoption.
